Former RAW chief Vikram Sood recently declared that the Shah Rukh Khan-starring movie Pathaan is "not an accurate depiction" and that he doesn't want to waste his time seeing it. RAW is India's foreign intelligence agency.
The film, the fourth in the YRF Spy Universe series, follows Pathaan (SRK), an exiled RAW agent, as he teams up with ISI operative Rubina Mohsin (Deepika Padukone) to stop Jim (John Abraham), a former RAW agent and traitor, from attacking India. Pathaan, the first Hindi movie to earn $1 billion globally without a China release, was praised for its action scenes.
Sood gave the audience his recommendation for Steven Spielberg's 2015 film Bridge of Spies, saying, "That is a real movie. Real espionage movies are produced in this manner. It entails dealing with the truth, not being misled or distracted, and leading a solitary life.
After months of debate, "Pathaan" will ultimately be released in Bangladesh on this date. From May 5, fans may watch Shah Rukh Khan's box office success in their neighborhood theaters.
Action Cut Entertainment is importing the film via the SAFTA agreement. Speaking on behalf of the group, Anonno Mamun proclaimed that "a new era has dawned on us." Around Eid, "Pathaan" will be able to be viewed in 40 locations.
